Since Spring Term 2017, the Faculty of Humanities has been honouring lecturers for excellent performance in teaching, whereby the university-wide criteria for the recognition of outstanding performance in teaching (in German: ALL) have been adopted as of Spring Term 2019. The faculty reserves the right to expand these criteria to meet faculty-specific requirements. In order to highlight the excellent achievements more strongly, a video-interview will be conducted with a selected excellent person (or two persons) each semester from Fall Term 2018 onwards and subsequently published. This ensures a more prominent presentation of excellent achievements in teaching and at the same time opens up the possibility of collecting and documenting best practice examples. The selection of the person to be interviewed is made by the Quality Manager of the faculty together with the Collegium Decanale on the basis of the list of all excellent lecturers of a semester.
